Jeremiah Johnson Unemployed Highly Annoyed Album Review 06-12-2022

Well hello Blues fans, sorry about last week, I had a bunch going on and just completely forgot to do a review. It couldn’t possibly be due to my being old and not able to remember what I had for lunch. Naw, that’s not it. But be that as it may, here we go with this weeks review, I present for your listening pleasure one Jeremiah Johnson and his LP “Unemployed Highly Annoyed”. I don’t remember exactly how I discovered Mr Johnson (there goes that memory thing again), possibly during one of my YouTube treasure hunts. Plus you gotta just love the man’s name, one of my favorite movies. Alright back on course, “Unemployed Highly Annoyed”, released in October 2020 was his second album of that year and his personal response to the covid epidemic. Jeremiah comes in with great chops, wonderful tone and a great voice. Some great uptempo and good old slow blues on this album. Some highlights include, the opener “Burn Down the Garden”, great uptempo “Daddy’s Going Out Tonight”, and of course the title track “Unemployed Highly Annoyed”. Take a listen to this one, I’ll bet you go in search of more from Mr Johnson.
