Jack Pearson Jack Pearson Album Review 11/28/2021

It’s Sunday and time for another Blues Album of the Week, this week I present for your listening enjoyment, Jack Pearson, his self titled album “Jack Pearson”, released in December 1999. I discovered Jack after he was mentioned on a YouTube I was watching, I honestly don’t remember which one. I follow several YouTubers, I am always making notes of names, acts and such. Jack’s name was mentioned and it’s off on another treasure hunt. From “Hang On” to “Home Cookin’”, this album swings. Highlights include, “Never Alone”, Ephesians 2:8”, “Tupelo Blues”. Slow blues, big band, Jazz this one’s got it. All instrumental, you need to get past the almost “elevator music” flavor of some of the tunes, to realize the gem we have here. Really good stuff from Mr Pearson, I think you will dig it. I will be further checking into Jack’s work to see what else I can find. Reports to follow.
