Well now its Blues album of the Week time, this week I bring you the Ghost Town Blues Band. I rather randomly discovered these guys while researching the upcoming calendar for a local establishment. What a glorious find. Released in February 2018, includes 9 songs. Yes, it’s a live album, I think everyone by now knows my penchant for live recordings. Let’s go over some highlights, how bout a rousing cover of the Beatle’s “Come Together” , the incredibly tacty but hugely fun “Big Shirley”, a great version of the Allman’s “Whipping Post”. And of course “One More Whiskey”. This album is a lot of fun, high energy Memphis style blues. You are going to dig the Ghost Town Blues Band.
